Gentlemen and Rogues - A History of Brimpts Tin Mine, Dartmeet, Dartmoor

A fascinating story of the history of the tin mines near Brimpts Farm,  Dartmeet. The main text is by Dr Tom Greeves and tells the story of the mine through extracts from mining journals and newspaper reports, along with research by DTRG members. This story brings the development of this mine to life, using characterful anecdotes. An additional section of the book about tin mining and ore processing on Dartmoor sets the story firmly in the Dartmoor landscape. The publication was funded by Moor Than Meets the Eye.
